Silver Sneakers Classes SilverSneakers I
Mondays at 12:45 p.m. and Wednesdays at 10:45 a.m.
Muscular Strength and Endurance classes are designed to improve your
strength, flexibility and the ability to perform functional activities
such as getting out of your car or lifting your grandchildren. Classes
are easy on your joints and appropriate for individuals who exercise
regularly as well as those new to exercise or who may not have exercised
in years. Hand held weights, elastic tubing with handles and a ball are
offered for resistance; and a chair is used for seated and/or standing
Tuesdays and Thursdays at 10:45 a.m.
Cardio Circuit classes help increase your cardiovascular and muscular
endurance with a high-energy circuit workout. Just like Muscular
Strength and Endurance you’ll use hand held weights, elastic tubing with
handles, and a ball to increase upper body strength. These exercises
are combined with non-impact aerobics to give you a complete total body
workout. Class ends with a cool-down of stretching and relaxation.
