Service To establish service with the City of Lebanon, you will need to visit the Customer Service Office.
The services we provide are Water, Sewer and Gas. The meter connection fee amounts are as follows: for Gas- Residential-$50.00, Commercial-$100.00, Industrial-$250.00; for Water and Sewer- Residential-$50.00, Commercial-$100.00,
Industrial-$250.00. All connection fees are non-refundable and non-transferable. Service can usually be provided the same day for requests made before 3 p.m.
Hours & Location
Normal office hours are 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. We are located at 200 Castle Heights Ave North. If you have any questions please contact our Customer Service office at 444-6300.
Billing
The Gas, Water & Sewer Department reads every meter and bills every customer each month. The utility bill may be paid at the drive-thru window, at our office, in the night depository or by Bank Draft. Payments may be made with cash, check or money order. In order to pay your bill at the drive-thru, you must have your bill or account number.
Past Due Bills
Payment must be received on or before the Disconnect Date. If your service has been disconnected for non-payment, a reconnection fee is due with payment in order for your service to be reconnected. The current Reconnection Fees are as follows:
- $30.00 for reconnection during business hours (7:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.).
- $50.00 for reconnection after business hours (after 4:00 p.m.) for first occurrence within 12 months.
- $100.00 for reconnection after business hours (after 4:00 p.m.) for second occurrence within 12 months.
- At the discretion of the Commissioner of Finance reconnect fees may be waived in extraordinary circumstances. Any and all waived reconnect fees will be reported to the City Council in writing.
There will be an offsite collection fee of $10.00 if a Utility Department employee has been sent out to your home to cut off your utilities and a payment is made at that time. For after-hours assistance, call 444-0825.
Leak Adjustments
A bill that is substantially higher than normal because of a water leak may be eligible for an adjustment. Call the Utility Billing Office at 444-6300. |
