Meet Your Personal Athletic Trainer
Marci Laramee-Davis is a board certified athletic trainer. She is an employee of the University medical Center and is staffed at the Jimmy Floyd Family Center. Some of her credentials are as follows:
  • MS in Athletic Training from Indiana State University, Terre Haute, Indiana
  • BS in Sports Medicine/Athletic Training, Lyndon State College, Lyndonville, Vermont
  • NATABOC Certified
  • Member of the National Athletic Trainers’ Association
  • Member of the Eastern Athletic Trainers’ Association
  • CPR/First Aid Certified
Responsibilities:
  • Assess and treat musculoskeletal injuries
  • Refer individuals to appropriate medical personnel when deemed necessary
  • Rehabilitate injuries or existing health conditions upon the advice, consent, and oral or written prescription of a physician, physical therapist, or athletic trainer
  • Educate individuals on a variety of health concerns and emphasize the importance of preventative measures
  • Monitor blood pressure and heart rate on appropriate individuals
  • Administer sports specific and functional exercise tests
  • Advise individuals on proper technique and conditioning
  • Administer body composition analysis
  • Provide a safe and approachable atmosphere for individuals
