| Meet Your Personal Athletic Trainer Marci Laramee-Davis is a board certified athletic trainer. She is an employee of the University medical Center and is staffed at the Jimmy Floyd Family Center. Some of her credentials are as follows:- MS in Athletic Training from Indiana State University, Terre Haute, Indiana
- BS in Sports Medicine/Athletic Training, Lyndon State College, Lyndonville, Vermont
- NATABOC Certified
- Member of the National Athletic Trainers’ Association
- Member of the Eastern Athletic Trainers’ Association
- CPR/First Aid Certified
Responsibilities:- Assess and treat musculoskeletal injuries
- Refer individuals to appropriate medical personnel when deemed necessary
- Rehabilitate injuries or existing health conditions upon the advice, consent, and oral or written prescription of a physician, physical therapist, or athletic trainer
- Educate individuals on a variety of health concerns and emphasize the importance of preventative measures
- Monitor blood pressure and heart rate on appropriate individuals
- Administer sports specific and functional exercise tests
- Advise individuals on proper technique and conditioning
- Administer body composition analysis
- Provide a safe and approachable atmosphere for individuals
