Juliet, City of Lebanon and Wilson County, TN The purpose of this study is to determine safe and desirable locations for bicycle and pedestrian facilities in the City of Mt. Juliet, the City of Lebanon and Wilson County, TN. A section of the report was devoted to each of these jurisdictions to address specific regional issues. Nashville Area Metropolitan Planning Organization This organization is responsible for a transportation planning process. Its members include all eligible local governments, the state DOT and, typically, other transportation-related agencies such as transit authorities and airports. Through the MPO, those members receive and program federal funds for various transportation projects and programs. Lebanon and Wilson County are an active part of this organization.
