Community Oriented Policing/Juvenile Crime Reduction Lebanon Police Department has placed a high degree of emphasis on the elimination of juvenile crime. A key goal is to provide safe, alternative fun for youth and positive role models. The department provides tailgate parties at the Lebanon High School and Cumberland University football games with free burgers and hot dogs. The department
sponsors a group of youth Police Explorers, who assist with community events.
Many of these young people aspire to one day become a law enforcement officer.
The police department
