The duties of patrol are general in nature. Those duties include but are not limited to enforcing traffic and criminal law, answering complaints, conducting investigations, community relations, transporting prisoners, crime prevention activities, etc. The Lebanon Police Department patrol division is comprised of four details, a traffic unit and a flex unit. Patrol Officers at the Lebanon Police Department are given areas of responsibility to patrol and have the necessary training to fulfill is obligation. During 2007 the Patrol Division handled 97,679 calls for service, a decrease of 11,658 calls over 2006.
