Special Operations Division Property & Evidence
In 2007, the Lebanon Police Department took into possession 4,301 items. These items include lost & found, recovered property, evidence, and seized property. Department officers seized 86 weapons and were responsible for the seizure of 735 narcotic related items including drugs and paraphernalia. A Mobile Crime Scene Unit is available for scenes requiring extended time or specialized equipment. This unit includes special chemicals such as Luminol and Cyanoacrylate as well as UV lamps, casting equipment, a mobile generator, and even full body suits. All property, weapons and narcotics seized are packaged and stored in a secure Evidence Room awaiting adjudication.
