RULES All players participating in CABA Baseball World Series play
shall have photocopies of their original birth certificates in the possession
of their team manager. Failure to have a copy of the birth certificate
available upon demand will result in the offending team losing the game, being
ejected from the tournament, being placed last in the standings and forfeiting
all awards, sponsors travel money and tournament berths that would have been
awarded at the tournament.
1. Any player who before May 1, reaches the nest highest age classification,
shall not be eligible to play in the lower age group. Example, a 14-yr old
cannot turn 15 before May 1 of 2006 and be eligible to play in the 14-under age
group.
2. Any player can play in a higher age classification, but cannot play in a
lower group.
3. All teams must have a representative present at the managers, meeting.
4. All players must be fully uniformed, which includes the following: Pants,
socks, cap, and team shirt with numbers that are non-duplicating and at least
three inches in height. Uniform must also have a CABA patch on the left sleeve.
5. Managers and coaches must wear a baseball cap with team insignia and will be
properly dressed. (Managers and coaches may wear shorts.)
6. While in the field, as a defensive player, team caps must be worn.
7. Protest of uniforms will not be allowed. It shall be the Tournament
Directors responsibility regarding uniform legality.
8. A full use batting helmet which covers the top and back of the head and the
side of the face must be worn by every player while in the on-deck circle, when
at bat and while on the base.
9. All bat boys/girls will wear full use batting helmets when their team is at
bat.
10. The catchers must wear protective gear: mask, chest protector, shin
guards, protective cup, catchers helmet and throat guard.
11. All playing rules not specifically covered above are governed by the CABA
World Series and Tournament Rules Baseball Handbook and the National League
Rules for Major League Baseball.
12. COOLERS WILL BE PROVIDED IN THE DUGOUTS FOR THE PLAYERS AND COACHES.
CONDUCT: Players and coachs conduct should be above reproach, both on and off
the diamond. Any misconduct will result in disqualification from the
championship. Coaches listed on the official team roster will be responsible
for the conduct of the players any for any damages incurred to the motel(s) or
facilities used by their roster players. Any player or coach or player ejected
from a game will also be disqualified from that teams following game. The
second occurrence during the tournament results in suspension for the remainder
of the tournament as well as possible imposition of further sanctions.
PROTEST Protests must be made verbally with the umpire by the offended
team at the time of the play and before the next pitch. A fee of $100.00 cash
(refunded if upheld) must accompany the protest. All decisions of the protest
committee shall be final. Only decisions involving the misinterpretation or
misapplication of a rule may be protested. No protest shall be allowed in
matters involving solely the officials, judgment.

11. NO BICYCLES OR SKATEBOARDS, SCOOTERS ETC.
12. CHILDREN MUST BE SUPREVISED AT ALL TIMES
13. BE ALERT AND WATCH FOR FOUL AND ERRANT FOUL BALLS
14. NO BATTING OR THROWING BALLS INTO FENCES OR DUGOUTS
15. NO CLIMBING ON FENCES OR BUILDINGS
16. NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR DAMAGE TO VEHICLES OR INJURY DUE TO FOUL OR ERRANT
BALLS
17. NO PEPPER CATCH BETWEEN DUGOUTS
18. NO SOFT TOSS OR BATTING PRACTICE AGAINST INSIDE WALLS OF FENCE
19. NO CHAIRS IN GRAND STANDS OR BLEACHERS
20. KEEP HANDS OFF NETS AT ALL TIMES
21. NO PROFANITY
22. NO SPECTATORS ON FIELD ONLY PLAYERS AND COACHES
23. CLEAN FEET OFF OUTSIDE OF DUGOUTS
24. SPEED LIMIT 15 MPH THROUGH PARKS
25. ABSOLUTELY NO FIREARMS ON CITY PROPERTY
COACHES PLEASE PASS THESE RULES ON TO YOUR PLAYERS, PARENTS, AND FANS AS THESE
RULES WILL BE STRICTLY ENFORCED!!!!!!!!!!
