Ray Knowles and other First Heritage Credit of Tennessee employees were joined by Mayor

PhilipCraighead, State Representative Mark Pody, Chairman of the Board John Bryan,

Chair-Elect John Bradshaw, and Chamber ambassadors for a ribbon cutting ceremony at

their newly-opened office on October 23, 2014. The business is located at 1221-A South

 Hartmann Drive. First Heritage Credit has branches in four states in the southeastern U.S.

 and specializes in personal loans.

A group of sports professionals, including coaches, teachers, and trainers, from Venezuelarecently

arrived in Lebanon as part of a sports exchange program facilitated by the Tennessee/Venezuela

 Partnership. In addition to visiting local facilities such as the Jimmy Floyd Family Center, attending

 seminars at Cumberland University, and going to Cumberland University and Tennessee Titans footbal

l games, the group came to the Lebanon City Council meeting on October 21, 2014. Members of the

group are pictured above with Mayor Philip Craighead and the City Council.

Members of Cumberland Presbyterian Church recently celebrated the opening of a new addition to their

building located at 522 Castle Heights Avenue. The Bill Berry Christian Education Facility was named in

honor of a lifelong member of Cumberland Presbyterian who recently passed away. Pictured above,

the Berry family cut the ribbon at a celebratory ceremony on Sunday, October 19, 2014.
