POSITION: Compliance Coordinator (Water Distribution)

 

DATE OF POSTING: 6/26/15                     DATE OF CLOSING: 7/6/15

 

DESCRIPTION OF POSITION: Worker is responsible for performing a variety of skilled manual tasks in maintaining & repairing water services and overseeing a crew involved in same. Work is generally performed as a member of a crew, although an employee may be assigned routine tasks to perform independently. All work is supervised and inspected by the manager in process and upon completion.

                                                MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

 

Graduation from High School or GED Equivalent.

Valid CDL Tennessee Driver’s License

Two years of experience in the practices of water distribution systems operation.

Must be a certified Grade II Distribution Operator and maintain certification through continuing education. Must possess or obtain a Grade II Distribution System Operator certification within 12 months of hire.

Successful report from physical examination including drug screening.

 

**All applicants tentatively selected for this position will be required to submit to urinalysis to screen for illegal drug use prior to appointment.***

One year of experience involving the use of medium to heavy sized equipment.
