POSITION: HEAVY EQUIPMENT OPERATOR (Water Distribution)

 

DATE OF POSTING: 7/30/15                     DATE OF CLOSING: 8/6/15

 

DESCRIPTION OF POSITION: Operates a variety of heavy equipment and/or trucks utilized in construction, maintenance and repair activities; performs a variety of semi-skilled tasks in the maintenance of street, bridge, water, wastewater, gas and storm drainage systems; performs related work as assigned.

 

                                                MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

 

Graduation from High School or GED Equivalent or one year related experience.

Valid Tennessee Drivers License.

Successful report from physical examination including drug screening.

 

**All applicants tentatively selected for this position will be required to submit to urinalysis to screen for illegal drug use prior to appointment.***
