POSITION: EQUIPMENT OPERATOR (Sewer Collection)

DATE OF POSTING: 1/20/15   DATE OF CLOSING:1/27/15

 

DESCRIPTION OF POSITION: Operates light equipment such as a dump truck, crew truck, asphalt spreader as utilized in construction, maintenance, and repair activities; performs a variety of semi-skilled tasks in the maintenance of roads, sewer, water and gas systems, right-of-ways, bridges, and storm drainage systems; performs related work as assigned.

 

                 

                                    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

High School diploma or GED or one year of experience involving the use of light to medium sized equipment, some of which must have been related to Water & Sewer construction repair maintenance.

 

Valid Tennessee driver’s license and CDL license or ability to obtain one within 90 days of hire.

Successful report from physical examination including drug screening.

**Al1 applicants tentatively selected for this position will be required to submit to urinalysis to screen for illegal drug use prior to appointment. ***
