POSITION: Economic Development Director


DATE OF POSTING:8/15/14             DATE OF CLOSING: 8/29/14


DESCRIPTION OF POSITION: To direct and coordinate activities within the realm of Economic and Community Development; administer the economic development program including prospect development, industry contact, and negotiation with industry representatives to encourage locations within the City of Lebanon; provide highly responsible and complex administrative support to the Mayor, City Council and various boards.



                                                MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with major coursework in economic development, urban planning, marketing, business administration or related field or equivalent experience. Three to five years of increasingly responsible experience in economic development or equivalent professional experience including two years of administrative experience.







DATE OF : 8/25/14                   DATE OF CLOSING: 9/2/14


DESCRIPTION OF POSITION: Investigates crimes and accidents. Protects residential and commercial property in city limits by law enforcement.


                         MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

High School Diploma or GED Equivalent

Completion of Law Enforcement Academy

Good physical condition.

Valid Tennessee Drivers License

At least 18 years of age

Successful report from physical examination including psychological examination and drug screening.
