DESCRIPTION OF POSITION: Employees in this class are under general supervision. Work is performed in fighting fires, and performing related work as required.

 

 

                                    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

 

Valid Tennessee Driver’s License High School Diploma or Equivalent

Comp1etion of a recognized training school for basic firefighting.

Experience in firefighting service. Weekend work is required.

Physical examination and back examination are required

 

**All applicants tentatively selected for this position will be required to submit
to urinalysis to screen for illegal drug use prior to appointment.***
