How do I apply for a job with the City of Lebanon?
If you are interested in a posted vacant position, you must submit an official, completed, signed, City of Lebanon application along with any other requested materials by the post application deadline. To get your official Ciy of Lebanon application you must come by the personnel offices at 200 North Castle Heights.

What if I want to apply for a job that does not currently have a vacancy?
The Personnel Department only accepts applications for positions that are currently posted as a vacancy. Temporary/Part-time applications are however accepted at any time.

Where is the Personnel Department located?
We are located in the City Hall Administration Building (Castle Heights Main) 200 North Castle Heights Avenue , on the 2nd Floor. If you need directions call us at (615) 443-2809.

If the job I am seeking requires an exam, how does the testing process work?
Most jobs require no test, however if you are required to test you will be notified after your application is received and reviewed. You will be notified by letter of the exam date, a time and location. Scores from the exam will be posted at City Hall and can be given to you over the telephone with proper identification.

What types of benefits does the City offer?

The City of Lebanon offers a very attractive, and extensive benefits package to its employees.
