Resurfacing, Restoration, and Rehabilitation Improvements Project (3R Project)

This is a project to fix/replace existing sidewalks that are damaged or in need of maintenance.  The project will receive funding through federal, state, and local sources thru the Tennessee Department of Transportation and Surface Transportation Block Grant Program (STBG).

Existing Sidewalks Being Improved

  • Greenlawn Drive (West Main St. to Hill St.): Both sides of road
  • North Hatton Avenue (West Main St. to Hill St.): Both sides of road
  • North College Street (E. Market St. to E. High St.): East side of road
  • East Market Street (N. Cumberland St. to Owen St.): North side of road
  • University Avenue (S. Maple St. to S. Greenwood St.): North side of road
  • CL Manier Street (McGregor St. to E. Baddour Pkwy.): North side of road

2018/2019 Sidewalk Improvements Project

This is a City project to install new sidewalk and fix/replace existing sidewalks that are damaged or in need of maintenance.  This project is City funded.

  • North Tarver Avenue (West Main St. to Hill St.): Both sides of road
  • Miscellaneous sections along West Main Street and South Cumberland Street
