  • The Supervisor will make an inspection of the cart, and make a determination as to what needs to be done (replace, repair, etc).

  • No. The carts are assigned to addresses not individuals.

  • In these cases, we ask that a Police Report be filed. If we do not find the stolen cart within a couple of days, we do issue another cart, or replace the damaged ones.

  • No. The carts are for household waste only. One of the most frequent problems we have is people discarding animal waste or hazardous materials in the carts such as: Batteries, Used Motor Oil, Paints. These situations are Code Violations and are turned over to our Codes Department.

  • We find that in a large percentage of these cases the cart was not out when the truck came by. We do go back, depending on the available time to do so. In some cases a customer may have to wait until the next scheduled pick-up date.
